Gurgaon Schools Fined For RTE Data Lapses

Nine private schools in Gurgaon have been fined between Rs 30,000 and Rs 1 lakh for violating the Right to Education Act, including failing to submit mandatory documentation and declare entry-level seats for the 2026-27 academic session. The action, approved by the directorate of elementary education, Haryana, follows scrutiny by the district education department. Nine more schools face higher penalties, with proposed fines ranging from Rs 1.5 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh.

गुरुग्राम के नौ निजी स्कूलों पर शिक्षा के अधिकार अधिनियम का उल्लंघन करने पर 30,000 रुपये से 1 लाख रुपये तक का जुर्माना लगाया गया है। इन स्कूलों ने अनिवार्य दस्तावेज जमा नहीं किए और 2026-27 सत्र के लिए प्रवेश स्तर की सीटें घोषित नहीं कीं। हरियाणा के स्कूली शिक्षा निदेशालय ने यह कार्रवाई की है। नौ अन्य स्कूलों पर 1.5 लाख से 2.5 लाख रुपये तक का भारी जुर्माना लगाया जा सकता है।
