Tourist Bus Overturns Near Bekal Bridge in Kerala; Passengers Escape Unhurt

Around 30 passengers had a narrow escape when a tourist bus traveling from Goa to Thrissur overturned near the Bekal bridge in Kasaragod early Sunday morning. The accident occurred around 2 a.m. when the driver swerved to avoid a car that allegedly veered onto the wrong side of the road. While a few passengers sustained minor injuries to their hands and legs, no serious injuries were reported. Local residents rushed to the spot to assist, and those with minor injuries were taken to a hospital in Uduma for treatment.

लगभग 30 यात्रियों ने रविवार तड़के कासरगोड में बेकल ब्रिज के पास गोवा से त्रिशूर जा रही एक टूरिस्ट बस के पलट जाने पर बाल-बाल जान बचाई। यह हादसा सुबह करीब 2 बजे हुआ जब ड्राइवर ने एक कार से बचने के लिए अचानक मोड़ दिया, जो कथित तौर पर सड़क के गलत साइड में आ गई थी। कुछ यात्रियों को हाथ-पैर में मामूली चोटें आईं, लेकिन किसी के गंभीर चोट लगने की खबर नहीं है। स्थानीय लोगों ने तुरंत मौके पर पहुंचकर मदद की और मामूली चोटों वाले यात्रियों को इलाज के लिए उडुमा के एक अस्पताल ले जाया गया।
