जिला कलेक्टर एस. वेंकटेश्वर ने 26 और 27 अक्टूबर को तिरुपति में भारत के उपराष्ट्रपति के दौरे के लिए व्यवस्थाओं की समीक्षा की। उन्होंने स्वास्थ्य विभाग को विशेषज्ञ डॉक्टरों और लाइफ-सपोर्ट एम्बुलेंस की उपलब्धता सुनिश्चित करने का निर्देश दिया। अग्निशमन विभाग को हाई अलर्ट पर रहने और खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिकारियों को गणमान्य व्यक्तियों के लिए सभी भोजन का परीक्षण करने का निर्देश दिया गया। पुलिस अधीक्षक ने कड़े सुरक्षा उपायों पर जोर दिया और लापरवाही के लिए अनुशासनात्मक कार्रवाई की चेतावनी दी। बिजली आपूर्ति और काफिले के वाहनों की तैयारी पर भी चर्चा की गई।
