Delhi-NCR Air Quality Dips; GRAP-1 Restrictions Implemented

Air pollution levels have begun to rise in Delhi-NCR with the onset of winter, prompting the implementation of the first stage of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP-1). CAQM enacted these restrictions across the National Capital Region due to deteriorating air quality. AQI rose from 179 to 244 within a day, moving from the moderate to the poor category.
