China Stocks Rise on Policy Support Pledge

Chinese mainland stocks saw a slight increase on Tuesday following a pledge from the country's cabinet to enhance counter-cyclical policy support amidst economic pressures. Property developers led the gains onshore after a State Council meeting committed to stabilizing the housing market. Trading remained subdued, however, due to the upcoming National Day holiday and rising US Treasury yields. Hong Kong shares experienced a decline.
