DNA Evidence Links Driver, Conductor to Delhi Bus

DNA evidence, including semen and hair strands, has linked the bus driver and conductor to the gang rape of a 16-year-old girl on a private sleeper bus in Delhi. Delhi Police filed a 398-page chargesheet, naming 50 witnesses and accusing the driver and conductor under the Pocso Act. The investigation revealed the bus had pending traffic violations and a non-functional CCTV camera. The accused allegedly diverted the bus route and dropped the victim on Ring Road after the assault.
