22-Year-Old Dies, Two Injured As Speeding SUV Hits Hatchback On Ludhiana Road

A 22-year-old factory worker, Raja Kumar, died and two others, including his employer, were injured when a speeding Scorpio rammed into their car on the Ludhiana–Chandigarh Road near Jamalpur police station. The three friends had stopped their i10 to get back in after dining when the SUV struck them from behind, causing severe damage to their vehicle. The Scorpio also hit a median and an electricity pole, damaging a nearby Mercedes. The occupants of the Scorpio fled the scene, and police are investigating the incident.

लुधियाना–चंडीगढ़ रोड पर जमालपुर पुलिस स्टेशन के पास एक तेज़ रफ़्तार स्कॉर्पियो ने उनकी कार को टक्कर मार दी, जिससे 22 वर्षीय फ़ैक्टरी मज़दूर राजा कुमार की मौत हो गई और उसके मालिक सहित दो अन्य घायल हो गए। तीनों दोस्त खाना खाने के बाद वापस अपनी i10 में बैठने के लिए रुके थे तभी SUV ने पीछे से टक्कर मार दी, जिससे उनकी गाड़ी बुरी तरह क्षतिग्रस्त हो गई। स्कॉर्पियो ने एक डिवाइडर और बिजली के खंभे को भी टक्कर मारी, जिससे पास खड़ी एक मर्सिडीज़ को भी नुकसान पहुँचा। स्कॉर्पियो में सवार लोग मौके से फरार हो गए, और पुलिस मामले की जाँच कर रही है।
