Portage College in Canada has advised Indian students facing work visa rejections to seek legal counsel and retain important documents. Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada stated their business management diploma programs were ineligible for permits. The college emphasized it cannot overturn immigration decisions and urged students to consult official government materials and obtain independent advice for their visa applications.

कनाडा के पोर्टेज कॉलेज ने भारतीय छात्रों को सलाह दी है कि वर्क वीज़ा रिजेक्ट होने पर वे कानूनी सलाह लें और ज़रूरी कागज़ात संभाल कर रखें। इमिग्रेशन, रिफ्यूजीज़ एंड सिटिजनशिप कनाडा ने कहा कि उनके बिज़नेस मैनेजमेंट डिप्लोमा प्रोग्राम वीज़ा के लिए योग्य नहीं थे। कॉलेज ने साफ किया कि वे इमिग्रेशन के फैसलों को बदल नहीं सकते और छात्रों को वीज़ा के लिए सरकारी जानकारी देखने और स्वतंत्र सलाह लेने को कहा है।
