ShareChat Aims for Late 2027 IPO Driven by Micro-Drama Profitability
Business Standard · business
Indian social media company ShareChat is targeting an initial public offering between October and December 2027, contingent on achieving full-year profitability and positive cash flow by March 2027. The company reported a 40% rise in operating revenue to ₹1,016 crore in FY26, driven significantly by its micro-drama content. Mohalla Tech, ShareChat's parent, turned Ebitda-positive in Q1FY27 and expects its first fully profitable year in FY27. This turnaround is attributed to the success of short, episodic micro-dramas, which have become a powerful growth engine.
