The FBI, along with other law enforcement agencies, is investigating suspicious letters containing an unknown white powder sent to election offices and congressional offices across multiple states. Some of these letters have been intercepted, while others may have reached their destinations. Officials in Louisiana and Oklahoma reported receiving such correspondence, leading to evacuations of their election offices. The National Association of Secretaries of State and State Election Directors expressed deep concern over threats against election officials, emphasizing that those administering elections should not fear for their safety.
