Rishabh Shetty to Portray Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in Two-Part Film

Producer Bhushan Kumar has partnered with actor-filmmaker Rishabh Shetty and director Sandeep Singh for a two-part historical film titled 'The Pride of India - Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj'. The movie will depict Shivaji Maharaj's extraordinary journey and his dream of Swaraj. Rishabh Shetty, known for 'Kantara', will essay the role of the Maratha warrior king. Bhushan Kumar presented Shetty with a 100-year-old painting of Shivaji Maharaj to mark the project's commencement. Pre-production has begun, with shooting planned for early 2027.

प्रोड्यूसर भूषण कुमार ने एक्टर-फिल्ममेकर ऋषभ शेट्टी और डायरेक्टर संदीप सिंह के साथ मिलकर 'द प्राइड ऑफ इंडिया - छत्रपति शिवाजी महाराज' नाम की दो-भागों वाली ऐतिहासिक फिल्म के लिए साझेदारी की है। यह फिल्म शिवाजी महाराज की असाधारण यात्रा और स्वराज के उनके सपने को दिखाएगी। 'कांतारा' के लिए जाने जाने वाले ऋषभ शेट्टी मराठा योद्धा राजा की भूमिका निभाएंगे। भूषण कुमार ने प्रोजेक्ट की शुरुआत के प्रतीक के तौर पर शेट्टी को शिवाजी महाराज की 100 साल पुरानी पेंटिंग भेंट की। प्री-प्रोडक्शन शुरू हो गया है, और शूटिंग 2027 की शुरुआत में होनी है।
