Pavangad ROB Approach Road Design Revised

Construction of the Pavangad–Puthiyappa railway overbridge approach road will resume after a revised design was approved by the Roads and Bridges Development Corporation of Kerala. The original plan faced a hurdle due to underground 110-kV and 11-kV power cables. The new design increases the number of piles at specific locations to avoid damaging the high-voltage cable, reducing relocation costs. The 11-kV cable will still be relocated at an estimated cost of ₹38 lakh.

केरल के Roads and Bridges Development Corporation ने Pavangad–Puthiyappa रेलवे ओवरब्रिज के एप्रोच रोड के नए डिज़ाइन को मंज़ूरी दे दी है। पहले ज़मीन के नीचे 110-kV और 11-kV की पावर केबल की वजह से काम रुका हुआ था। नए डिज़ाइन में केबल को नुकसान से बचाने के लिए कुछ जगहों पर ज़्यादा पाइल लगाए जाएंगे, जिससे लागत कम होगी। 11-kV केबल को हटाने में करीब ₹38 लाख का खर्च आएगा।
