He stated that the parody award made it difficult to secure studio film roles afterward. This led him to explore filmmaking and directing to sustain his career. Eisenberg explained that the film industry signals its preferences, and receiving a Razzie indicated a lack of industry favour. Despite this, he continued to appear in other major film projects.
