WhatsApp has launched a new guest calling feature allowing users to invite individuals without an account to join audio and video calls. By sharing a link, users can include non-WhatsApp users in calls, which will be end-to-end encrypted. Up to 32 participants, including guests, can join a call, with no time limit and free of charge. Guests must wait for the host's approval to join and have limited interaction capabilities, ensuring host control. This feature aims to simplify group discussions, online classes, and meetings.
