Governor Jishnu Dev Varma Urges Youth to Shun Addiction

Governor Jishnu Dev Varma has appealed to the youth to steer clear of addictions and focus on building character through discipline and concentration. Speaking at an event in Nashik under the ‘Sashakt Yuva, Sashakt Bharat’ campaign, he emphasized utilizing youth power for nation-building and achieving Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. Varma highlighted that with over 65% of India's population under 35, youth are a massive opportunity, but drug addiction poses a serious challenge.

राज्यपाल जिष्णु देव वर्मा ने युवाओं से नशे से दूर रहने और अनुशासन व एकाग्रता से चरित्र निर्माण पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की अपील की है। उन्होंने नासिक में ‘सशक्त युवा, सशक्त भारत’ अभियान के तहत एक कार्यक्रम में कहा कि युवाओं की शक्ति का उपयोग राष्ट्र निर्माण और प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के विकसित भारत 2047 के विजन को हासिल करने के लिए किया जाना चाहिए। वर्मा ने कहा कि भारत की 65% से अधिक आबादी 35 वर्ष से कम आयु की है, इसलिए युवा एक बड़ा अवसर हैं, लेकिन नशीली दवाओं की लत एक गंभीर चुनौती पेश करती है।
