Vir Das Becomes First Indian With Three Emmy

Comedian Vir Das has received his third International Emmy nomination for his stand-up special 'Vir Das: Fool Volume'. This makes him the first Indian performer to achieve three International Emmy nominations. His previous nominations were for 'Vir Das: For India' in 2021 and 'Vir Das: Landing' in 2023, the latter of which won him the award. Das expressed gratitude for the support, calling the nomination surreal given the special's origin from losing his voice.
