Strait of Hormuz Transits Hit Lowest In Over Two Months

Vessel transits through the Strait of Hormuz have fallen to their lowest point in over two months, following a surge in attacks on tankers in the crucial waterway. Data from analytics firm Kpler showed only seven commodity vessels passed through on Tuesday, the lowest figure since July 23. Crude crossing the strait dropped 27% from the previous week, returning to its September average but significantly below pre-war levels.
