Veteran actor Nana Patekar, 75, was cremated with full state honours in Pune on Thursday night after passing away early that morning from a reported cardiac arrest. His son, Malhar Patekar, explained that the funeral was conducted on the same day due to the significant time that had already passed since his father's death. A large crowd, including film personalities and politicians, attended the ceremony. Patekar was known for his powerful performances in films like 'Parinda' and 'Krantiveer'.

75 साल के दिग्गज एक्टर नाना पाटेकर का गुरुवार रात पुणे में राजकीय सम्मान के साथ अंतिम संस्कार कर दिया गया। सुबह उनका निधन हुआ था, जिसकी वजह कार्डियक अरेस्ट बताई जा रही है। उनके बेटे मल्हार पाटेकर ने बताया कि पिता की मौत के बाद काफी समय बीत जाने की वजह से उसी दिन अंतिम संस्कार किया गया। इस मौके पर फिल्म जगत और राजनीति से जुड़ी कई बड़ी हस्तियां मौजूद रहीं। पाटेकर अपनी दमदार एक्टिंग के लिए जाने जाते थे, खासकर 'परिंदा' और 'क्रांतिवीर' जैसी फिल्मों में।
