A 35-year-old man was allegedly killed for smearing cake on his friend's face during a birthday celebration in Jammu's Janipur area. The prime accused, Neeraj, whose birthday it was, and his brother Rishu were arrested by the police. The incident occurred when a verbal spat escalated into a fatal stabbing. Friends attempted to intervene, but Neeraj allegedly used a sharp weapon on the victim, Pawan Nair.
