A Danish man has spent two decades transforming his suburban home near Aalborg into a medieval-style castle named Casa Del Renaissance. What began as a garden wall evolved into a property featuring towers, battlements, and a four-metre wide moat. Peter Hvid, with no formal building qualifications, undertook approximately 90% of the construction himself, incorporating salvaged materials. Despite its medieval appearance, the home retains modern conveniences like central heating and electricity, blending historical aesthetics with 21st-century living.
