Jaya Bachchan Shielded 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' Cast From Financial Woes

Times of India · entertainment

Actress Bhavana Balsaver recalled how producer Jaya Bachchan ensured the cast of the iconic show 'Dekh Bhai Dekh' remained unaffected by the financial crisis faced by Amitabh Bachchan's production house, ABCL. Despite the company's difficulties in the late 1990s, Jaya maintained high production quality and a positive atmosphere on set. She continued to interact with the cast, fostering an environment of laughter and joking, preventing any impact on their performances. The Bachchans reinvested show profits rather than using them to clear debts, prioritizing the show's integrity.
