The Greater Mohali Area Development Authority (GMADA) has invited e-tenders exceeding ₹3.1 crore for a pilot project to inspect, clean, and rehabilitate sewer lines in Mohali. This initiative aims to address recurring sewer blockages and waterlogging by first identifying the exact condition and location of faults within pipelines. The project will involve CCTV inspections, mechanized cleaning using super sucker machines, and subsequent camera verification to ensure blockages are cleared. This approach will minimize excavation and help create a record of the sewer network's condition for future maintenance planning.
