Agra MLC Election: Re-polling Ordered at 3 Booths After Booth Capturing Allegations

Re-polling will be conducted at three polling stations in the Agra Teachers' constituency following allegations of booth capturing and irregularities. The recommendation for re-polling at these specific centers, including Kheragarh Tehsil, Saiyan Tehsil, and Fatehabad Tehsil, was made by the Returning Officer. This decision comes after the Samajwadi Party candidate, Dr. Akash Agarwal, emotionally appealed to the Election Commission, claiming widespread booth capturing by the BJP candidate and his supporters. Agarwal alleged that police and election officials failed to prevent the disruptions during the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Council elections.

आगरा शिक्षक निर्वाचन क्षेत्र में बूथ कैप्चरिंग और अनियमितताओं के आरोपों के बाद तीन मतदान केंद्रों पर फिर से मतदान होगा। इन विशिष्ट केंद्रों, जिनमें खेरागढ़ तहसील, सैयां तहसील और फतेहाबाद तहसील शामिल हैं, पर फिर से मतदान की सिफारिश रिटर्निंग ऑफिसर ने की थी। यह फैसला समाजवादी पार्टी के उम्मीदवार, डॉ. आकाश अग्रवाल द्वारा चुनाव आयोग से भावनात्मक अपील के बाद आया है, जिसमें उन्होंने भाजपा उम्मीदवार और उसके समर्थकों द्वारा बड़े पैमाने पर बूथ कैप्चरिंग का आरोप लगाया था। अग्रवाल ने आरोप लगाया कि पुलिस और चुनाव अधिकारियों ने उत्तर प्रदेश विधान परिषद चुनावों के दौरान व्यवधानों को रोकने में विफल रहे।
