Malaria Cases Rise 31% In Andhra Pradesh

Andhra Pradesh has seen a significant surge in malaria cases, with a 31% increase compared to last year. Health officials reported 8,354 malaria cases between January and, up from 6,385 in the same period last year. The number of malaria-related deaths also rose from two to eleven. Alluri Sitarama Raju district reported the highest number of cases. Dengue cases also saw a slight increase, while chikungunya cases declined. The rise in seasonal fevers is putting pressure on healthcare facilities across the state.

आंध्र प्रदेश में मलेरिया के मामलों में काफी बढ़ोतरी देखी गई है, पिछले साल की तुलना में 31% की वृद्धि हुई है। स्वास्थ्य अधिकारियों ने जनवरी से अब तक 8,354 मलेरिया मामलों की सूचना दी है, जो पिछले साल इसी अवधि में 6,385 थे। मलेरिया से होने वाली मौतों की संख्या भी दो से बढ़कर ग्यारह हो गई है। अल्लूरी सीताराम राजू जिले में सबसे अधिक मामले दर्ज किए गए। डेंगू के मामलों में भी थोड़ी वृद्धि हुई, जबकि चिकनगुनिया के मामलों में गिरावट आई। मौसमी बुखारों में वृद्धि से राज्य भर में स्वास्थ्य सुविधाओं पर दबाव पड़ रहा है।
