Russia Says Foreign Attempts To Disrupt Duma Vote

Russia's Deputy Foreign Minister Yevgeny Ivanov stated that all attempts to disrupt the State Duma elections abroad have failed. He reported various provocations, including alleged exit polls, rallies, and temporary network disruptions, but asserted these efforts did not achieve their goals. Ivanov also noted the failure of a campaign by non-systemic opposition to paralyze polling stations. The elections, held September 18-20, include residents from newly incorporated regions.
