Mumbai Cat Killer Arrested, Confesses to 6+ Deaths

Mumbai police have arrested Shiva, a homeless man, in connection with the serial killing of cats in Chembur's Panjrapol area. CCTV footage led to his apprehension. During interrogation, Shiva confessed to killing more than six cats. At least 20 cats have reportedly been killed since mid-August. PETA India had offered a Rs 50,000 reward for information. Police are investigating the motive and Shiva's mental state.

मुंबई पुलिस ने चेंबूर के पंजापोल इलाके में बिल्लियों की सिलसिलेवार हत्या के आरोप में शिव नाम के एक बेघर आदमी को गिरफ्तार किया है। सीसीटीवी फुटेज से उसकी पहचान हुई। पूछताछ में शिव ने छह से ज़्यादा बिल्लियों को मारने की बात कबूल की है। अगस्त के मध्य से अब तक करीब 20 बिल्लियाँ मारी जा चुकी हैं। PETA India ने जानकारी देने वाले को 50,000 रुपये का इनाम देने की घोषणा की थी।
