Clear weather is expected to ensure a decent voter turnout in the Vizianagaram mayoral elections, which began peacefully on Sunday, November 1, 2026. The district officials are relieved as the region was significantly impacted by the recent Cyclone Arnab. Over 2.23 lakh voters are eligible to elect a new mayor from seven candidates, alongside 169 corporator candidates for 62 divisions. Similar civic body polls are underway in Bobbili, Nellimarla, Ichchapuram, Palasa, Salur, Parvatipuram, and Palakonda municipalities, with officials anticipating over 80 percent turnout due to the clear skies.

रविवार, 1 नवंबर 2026 को शुरू हुई विजयनगरम मेयर चुनावों में साफ मौसम से अच्छे मतदाता मतदान की उम्मीद है। जिला अधिकारी राहत महसूस कर रहे हैं क्योंकि हाल ही में चक्रवात अर्नाब ने इस क्षेत्र को काफी प्रभावित किया था। 2.23 लाख से अधिक मतदाता सात उम्मीदवारों में से एक नया मेयर चुनने के योग्य हैं, साथ ही 62 डिवीजनों के लिए 169 कॉर्पोरेटर उम्मीदवार भी हैं। इसी तरह की निकाय चुनाव बॉबीली, नेल्लिमारला, इचछपुरम, पालासा, सालूर, पार्वतीपुरम और पालकोंडा नगर पालिकाओं में चल रहे हैं, जिसमें अधिकारियों को साफ आसमान के कारण 80 प्रतिशत से अधिक मतदान की उम्मीद है।
