Two 18-Year-Old Women Drown in Yamuna River in North Delhi

Two 18-year-old women drowned in the Yamuna River in north Delhi's Wazirabad on Friday morning. They were visiting Sur Ghat with their families for a ritual bath when they entered the water, lost their balance, and were swept away by the current. Both were found by divers and taken to a hospital, where they were declared dead. Police are investigating the incident, which appears to be an accidental drowning, and have not suspected foul play. This incident follows similar drownings in the Yamuna in July.

शुक्रवार सुबह उत्तर दिल्ली के वजीराबाद में यमुना नदी में दो 18 साल की लड़कियों की डूबने से मौत हो गई। वे अपने परिवारों के साथ एक रस्म के तौर पर नहाने के लिए सुर घाट गई थीं, तभी वे पानी में उतरीं, अपना संतुलन खो बैठीं और तेज बहाव में बह गईं। गोताखोरों ने दोनों को ढूंढ निकाला और अस्पताल ले जाया गया, जहाँ उन्हें मृत घोषित कर दिया गया। पुलिस इस घटना की जांच कर रही है, जो एक आकस्मिक डूबने का मामला लग रहा है, और किसी भी गलत काम का संदेह नहीं है। यह घटना जुलाई में यमुना में हुई इसी तरह की डूबने की घटनाओं के बाद हुई है।
