Saudi Arabia to Boost Crude Exports To 10 Million Barrels Daily

Saudi Arabia plans to increase its crude oil export capacity to 10 million barrels per day within two to three years. This will be achieved by repurposing a domestic gas pipeline for oil shipments and upgrading its existing East-West network. Initially, up to 1.2 million barrels per day can be added in seven to eight weeks by temporarily using a gas pipeline. Further investments could increase this additional capacity significantly. Saudi Aramco is also exploring additional export routes and expanding overseas storage.
