बांग्लादेश के जूनियर विदेश मंत्री हुमायूं कबीर ने भारत के साथ रिश्तों में बदलाव का सुझाव दिया है। उन्होंने कहा कि पुरानी दोस्ती से हटकर अब एक ऐसे लेन-देन वाले रिश्ते की ओर बढ़ना चाहिए जहाँ ढाका नई दिल्ली को बराबरी का दर्जा दे। कबीर ने "भारत के प्रति आकर्षण" के बजाय अपने देश पर ध्यान केंद्रित करने की बात कही।
