Cubbon Park Walks To Be Held In Kannada On Rajyotsava Day

Cubbon Park in Bengaluru will host special "Cubbon Walks" in Kannada on November 1 to celebrate Karnataka Rajyotsava. These guided walks, organized by the Horticulture Department and The Naturalist School, will cover explanations of statues, trees, and local wildlife in Kannada. The walks are scheduled from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. While originally planned in both Kannada and English, the department noted a significant drop in Kannada participants, with most preferring English. Despite this, the initiative aims to promote the local language and heritage within the park.
