Bengaluru College Cancels Event Amid ABVP Threat Claim

The All India Students’ Association (AISA) in Bengaluru alleged that Mount Carmel college cancelled a panel discussion on September 23. AISA claims the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) threatened the administration over the participation of certain speakers. The discussion was titled “Gender Politics and the Media in the Fight for Equality”. The ABVP president denied issuing threats, stating internal discussions occurred but found nothing objectionable.
