AAP Seeks Disqualification of Two MLAs Expelled for Anti-Party Activities

AAP has expelled two MLAs, Harmeet Singh Pathanmajra and Chetan Singh Jaura Majra, for alleged anti-party activities. The party now plans to petition the Assembly Speaker to cancel their memberships. Both legislators had previously resigned from the AAP. Pathanmajra, representing the Cennur constituency, and Jaura Majra, from Samana, were elected in 2022. Jaura Majra had also served as a cabinet minister in the current government.

आप ने कथित पार्टी विरोधी गतिविधियों के लिए दो विधायकों, हरमीत सिंह पठनमाजरा और चेतन सिंह जौरा माजरा को निष्कासित कर दिया है। अब पार्टी विधानसभा अध्यक्ष से उनकी सदस्यता रद्द करने की याचिका दायर करने की योजना बना रही है। दोनों विधायकों ने पहले आप से इस्तीफा दे दिया था। चन्नूर निर्वाचन क्षेत्र का प्रतिनिधित्व करने वाले पठनमाजरा और समाना से जौरा माजरा 2022 में चुने गए थे। जौरा माजरा ने वर्तमान सरकार में कैबिनेट मंत्री के रूप में भी काम किया था।
