Delhi Lawyers to Wear Black Ribbons Today Protesting Police Action on Fraternity

Members of the Delhi High Court Bar Association (DHCBA) will wear black ribbons on Monday to protest alleged police manhandling of lawyers during recent demonstrations. The DHCBA Executive Committee called the action a strong protest against what it termed "excessive and disproportionate use of force" by police. This gesture expresses solidarity with lawyers allegedly mistreated and opposes police actions. SCAORA also filed a petition regarding mistreatment and security restrictions, with the Supreme Court ordering the removal of barricades and lifting of prohibitory orders.
