Activist Natasha Narwal Allowed To Travel To UK For Academic Research

The Delhi High Court has permitted activist and researcher Natasha Narwal to travel to the United Kingdom for academic purposes. Narwal, who was granted bail in a case linked to the 2020 Delhi riots, sought permission to visit the UK from November 2 to December 1 to attend a conference and conduct research. The court ordered the release of her passport and suspended any lookout circular against her during this period. She must provide undertakings to return to India and furnish personal bonds, while also surrendering her passport upon return.

दिल्ली हाई कोर्ट ने एक्टिविस्ट और रिसर्चर नताशा नरवाल को अकादमिक कामों के लिए यूनाइटेड किंगडम जाने की इजाज़त दे दी है। 2020 के दिल्ली दंगों से जुड़े एक मामले में ज़मानत मिलने के बाद, नरवाल ने 2 नवंबर से 1 दिसंबर तक यूके जाने की अनुमति मांगी थी ताकि वे एक कॉन्फ्रेंस में शामिल हो सकें और शोध कर सकें। कोर्ट ने इस दौरान उनका पासपोर्ट रिलीज़ करने और किसी भी लुकआउट सर्कुलर को सस्पेंड करने का आदेश दिया। उन्हें भारत लौटने का अंडरटेकिंग देना होगा और पर्सनल बॉन्ड भरना होगा, साथ ही लौटने पर पासपोर्ट जमा कराना होगा।
