The Israeli military has initiated a "limited counterterrorism" operation in the Hebron area of the West Bank following a shooting attack that killed two soldiers and wounded others. The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) are conducting targeted searches for weapons and infrastructure linked to the attackers, while also questioning suspects. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered a full lockdown of the West Bank and announced plans to dismantle terrorist infrastructure in the neighbourhood from which the attackers emerged.
