Kerala Vigilance Probe Begins Into Kochi Apartment Project Irregularities

VACB has begun a probe into alleged construction irregularities at the P&T Apartment Complex in Mundamveli, Kochi. A VACB team, accompanied by Public Works Department engineers, inspected the apartments and spoke with residents. The project, built by Greater Cochin Development Authority at over ₹14.62 crore, aimed to house 77 families but began leaking shortly after residents moved in. Residents are demanding immediate rehabilitation, while some question the impartiality of the investigating officers.

VACB ने कोच्चि के मुंडमवेली में P&T अपार्टमेंट कॉम्प्लेक्स में कथित निर्माण अनियमितताओं की जांच शुरू कर दी है। VACB की एक टीम ने लोक निर्माण विभाग के इंजीनियरों के साथ अपार्टमेंट का निरीक्षण किया और निवासियों से बात की। ग्रेटर कोचीन डेवलपमेंट अथॉरिटी द्वारा ₹14.62 करोड़ से अधिक की लागत से निर्मित इस परियोजना का उद्देश्य 77 परिवारों को आवास देना था, लेकिन निवासी के बसने के तुरंत बाद ही इसमें रिसाव शुरू हो गया। निवासी तत्काल पुनर्वास की मांग कर रहे हैं, जबकि कुछ जांच अधिकारियों की निष्पक्षता पर सवाल उठा रहे हैं।
