Tesla Opens Third Experience Store in Chennai

US-based electric carmaker Tesla is expanding its presence in India by opening its third experience store in Chennai this week. This marks Tesla's sixth store nationwide and third in the southern region, following Hyderabad and Bengaluru. The company has sold over 600 cars in India this year, with 38 units sold in Tamil Nadu. The new Chennai centre aims to boost sales in the state, which has seen over 19,700 electric car sales in 2026.
