Delhi Police Registers 25 FIRs Over SIR Protests; Rahul, Priyanka Named

Delhi Police has registered 25 First Information Reports (FIRs) concerning the SIR protests that took place in the national capital since October 2. Prominent Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have been named in these cases. The FIRs address alleged vandalism of public property, assaults on police personnel, obstruction of government work, and violations of prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS).

दिल्ली पुलिस ने राष्ट्रीय राजधानी में 2 अक्टूबर से हुए SIR विरोध प्रदर्शनों के संबंध में 25 फर्स्ट इंफॉर्मेशन रिपोर्ट्स (FIRs) दर्ज की हैं। प्रमुख कांग्रेस नेताओं राहुल गांधी और प्रियंका गांधी वाड्रा का इन मामलों में नाम लिया गया है। FIRs में कथित तौर पर सार्वजनिक संपत्ति को नुकसान पहुंचाना, पुलिसकर्मियों पर हमला करना, सरकारी काम में बाधा डालना और भारतीय नागरिक सुरक्षा संहिता (BNSS) की धारा 163 के तहत निषेधाज्ञा आदेशों का उल्लंघन करना शामिल है।
