Police Attacked During Anti-Drug Operation in Kurukshetra

A police team was allegedly assaulted by a group of individuals while conducting an anti-drug operation in Kurukshetra's Gandhi Nagar area on Saturday. The officers were investigating a tip about drug sales when they were confronted. Several men and women reportedly gathered, abused, and physically attacked the police personnel. One officer sustained a head injury during the altercation. The accused allegedly threatened the police and warned them against returning to the area.

शनिवार को कुरुक्षेत्र के गांधी नगर इलाके में नशा विरोधी अभियान चला रही पुलिस टीम पर कुछ लोगों ने कथित तौर पर हमला किया। पुलिस को नशे की बिक्री की सूचना मिली थी, जिसकी जांच के दौरान उनका सामना हुआ। बताया जा रहा है कि कई पुरुष और महिलाएं इकट्ठा हो गईं, उन्होंने पुलिसकर्मियों को गाली दी और शारीरिक रूप से हमला किया। इस झड़प में एक पुलिस अधिकारी के सिर में चोट आई। आरोपियों ने कथित तौर पर पुलिस को धमकी दी और उन्हें इलाके में वापस न आने की चेतावनी दी।
