Kolkata Caterers Flee With Advance Payment

Kolkata police are investigating two brothers who allegedly absconded with an advance payment of Rs 1.25 lakh from a wedding host. The caterers were contracted to provide food for 250 guests but only supplied snacks for a few before disappearing. The host was forced to make alternative arrangements for the remaining guests. A case has been registered under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita for criminal breach of trust. The investigation is ongoing to locate the suspects and determine if others have been defrauded.

कोलकाता पुलिस दो भाइयों की जांच कर रही है, जिन्होंने कथित तौर पर एक शादी की मेज़बान से ₹1.25 लाख की एडवांस राशि लेकर फरार हो गए। कैटरर्स को 250 मेहमानों के लिए खाना सप्लाई करना था, लेकिन कुछ ही लोगों को स्नैक्स देने के बाद वे गायब हो गए। मेज़बान को बाकी मेहमानों के लिए वैकल्पिक व्यवस्था करनी पड़ी। विश्वासघात के आपराधिक मामले के तहत भारतीय न्याय संहिता के तहत मामला दर्ज किया गया है। संदिग्धों का पता लगाने और यह निर्धारित करने के लिए जांच जारी है कि क्या अन्य लोगों को भी ठगा गया है।
