A fire broke out at NIMS Hospital on the Jaipur-Delhi highway late night, causing panic among patients and their families. Initial investigations suggest a short circuit as the cause. Flames erupted from the false ceiling of an operation theatre on the ground floor, quickly filling the OT and MICU areas with smoke. Many patients, including those in serious condition, had to spend the night outdoors as fire safety arrangements were reportedly inadequate, raising questions about emergency preparedness.

जयपुर-दिल्ली हाईवे पर स्थित NIMS हॉस्पिटल में देर रात आग लग गई। इससे मरीजों और उनके परिवारों में हड़कंप मच गया। शुरुआती जांच में शॉर्ट सर्किट को वजह बताया जा रहा है। ग्राउंड फ्लोर के ऑपरेशन थिएटर की फॉल्स सीलिंग से आग की लपटें निकलीं और OT व MICU में धुआं भर गया। कई गंभीर मरीजों को भी बाहर रात गुजारनी पड़ी। आग से बचाव के इंतजामों पर सवाल उठ रहे हैं।
