Karnataka Home Minister Priyank Kharge announced the arrest of one individual in Kalaburagi for alleged terror links via social media. The arrest followed a joint operation by central and state internal security agencies that detained two youths originally from outside Karnataka. While one suspect was found to be in regular contact with a terror network, the other was not. This marks the fifth such case in recent months, with individuals from Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, and West Bengal involved.

कर्नाटक के गृहमंत्री प्रियंक खरगे ने बताया कि सोशल मीडिया के ज़रिए आतंकी संबंधों के शक में कलबुर्गी में एक व्यक्ति को गिरफ्तार किया गया है। यह गिरफ्तारी केंद्रीय और राज्य की आंतरिक सुरक्षा एजेंसियों के संयुक्त ऑपरेशन के बाद हुई, जिसमें कर्नाटक के बाहर के दो युवकों को हिरासत में लिया गया था। एक संदिग्ध आतंकी नेटवर्क के संपर्क में था, जबकि दूसरा नहीं। यह हाल के महीनों में पांचवां ऐसा मामला है, जिसमें उत्तर प्रदेश, मध्य प्रदेश और पश्चिम बंगाल के लोग शामिल हैं।
