Man Dies by Suicide in Varanasi After Friend's Accidental Death

A 25-year-old man allegedly died by suicide in Varanasi on Saturday evening, found hanging in a rented room. Police reported that the youth was distressed over the accidental death of a close friend just a day prior. The girl renting the room stated he was upset and, despite her attempts to dissuade him, he locked himself in and took his life. His family confirmed the details provided by the girl in their complaint. The body has been sent for a postmortem examination as investigations continue.

वाराणसी में शनिवार शाम को एक 25 वर्षीय युवक ने कथित तौर पर खुदकुशी कर ली। उसे किराए के कमरे में पंखे से लटका हुआ पाया गया। पुलिस ने बताया कि यह युवक एक दिन पहले ही अपने एक करीबी दोस्त की अचानक हुई मौत से काफी परेशान था। जिस लड़की ने कमरा किराए पर लिया था, उसने बताया कि वह काफी दुखी था और उसने उसे रोकने की कोशिश की, लेकिन उसने खुद को कमरे में बंद कर लिया और जान दे दी। लड़की द्वारा दी गई जानकारी की पुष्टि युवक के परिवार ने अपनी शिकायत में की है। जांच जारी है और शव को पोस्टमार्टम के लिए भेज दिया गया है।
