Pakistan has declared Jaish-e-Mohammed chief Masood Azhar a fugitive, raising the bounty on him to PKR 70 lakh. This move comes ahead of an upcoming Financial Action Task Force (FATF) review in October, as Pakistan seeks to avoid being placed back on the global watchdog's grey list. The Federal Investigation Agency increased the reward by PKR 20 lakh. This action is seen as an attempt to project counter-terrorism efforts before the FATF.
