Kerala Invites Suggestions for Sidharthan Anti-Ragging Act and Student Distress App

The Kerala State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) is seeking feedback from students, teachers, parents, and the public for the proposed 'Sidharthan Anti-Ragging Act' and the 'Sidharthan Student Distress App'. This initiative aims to create a safe and harassment-free campus environment in higher education institutions across the state. KSHEC vice-chairperson Achuthsankar S. Nair stated that suggestions will be incorporated into the final legislation and app development. Public can submit recommendations via email or WhatsApp, with comments required in English and adhering to community guidelines.

केरल राज्य उच्च शिक्षा परिषद (KSHEC) प्रस्तावित 'सिद्धानाथन एंटी-रैगिंग एक्ट' और 'सिद्धानाथन स्टूडेंट डिस्ट्रेस ऐप' के लिए छात्रों, शिक्षकों, अभिभावकों और जनता से प्रतिक्रिया मांग रही है। इस पहल का उद्देश्य राज्य भर के उच्च शिक्षा संस्थानों में एक सुरक्षित और उत्पीड़न-मुक्त परिसर का माहौल बनाना है। KSHEC के उपाध्यक्ष अच्युतशंकर एस. नायर ने कहा कि सुझावों को अंतिम कानून और ऐप विकास में शामिल किया जाएगा। जनता ईमेल या व्हाट्सएप के माध्यम से सिफारिशें जमा कर सकती है, जिसमें टिप्पणियां अंग्रेजी में और सामुदायिक दिशानिर्देशों का पालन करते हुए आवश्यक हैं।
