The Allahabad High Court has strongly condemned the eviction of shopkeepers in Ayodhya for a super-speciality hospital without providing rehabilitation or compensation. The court observed that asking leaseholders to vacate without terminating their leases violates their right to livelihood and constitutional rights. While acknowledging the public interest in the hospital's construction, the bench emphasized that shopkeepers' livelihoods cannot be disregarded. The court has directed the medical and health department to submit an affidavit within three weeks detailing proposed rehabilitation or compensation steps for the affected individuals.

इलाहाबाद हाईकोर्ट ने अयोध्या में सुपर-स्पेशियलिटी अस्पताल के लिए दुकानदारों को बिना पुनर्वास या मुआवजा दिए हटाने की कड़ी निंदा की है। अदालत ने कहा कि पट्टेदारों को उनके पट्टे समाप्त किए बिना खाली करने के लिए कहना उनकी आजीविका और संवैधानिक अधिकारों का उल्लंघन करता है। अस्पताल के निर्माण में जनहित को स्वीकार करते हुए, पीठ ने इस बात पर जोर दिया कि दुकानदारों की आजीविका को नजरअंदाज नहीं किया जा सकता। अदालत ने चिकित्सा और स्वास्थ्य विभाग को प्रभावित व्यक्तियों के लिए प्रस्तावित पुनर्वास या मुआवजे के कदमों का विवरण देते हुए तीन सप्ताह के भीतर एक हलफनामा जमा करने का निर्देश दिया है।
