A 25-year-old woman, R Ramya, has died after jumping into a well with her 10-month-old daughter and mother, R Beena, following a family dispute in Coimbatore. The incident occurred near Singanallur on Friday. Locals heard cries and rescued all three from the well, but Ramya was pronounced dead upon retrieval. Beena and the baby were found struggling and were rushed to a hospital for treatment. Singanallur police have registered a case and are investigating the circumstances surrounding the tragic event.
