Indian Rupee Edges Up 3 Paise Against USD To 94.78 In Early Trade
The Hindu - Business · business
The Indian rupee saw a slight increase, trading up by three paise to 94.78 against the U.S. dollar in early trade on Friday. This marginal gain occurred amidst macroeconomic headwinds, including elevated crude oil prices and foreign fund outflows. Forex analysts noted that the rupee began trading flat-to-lower due to sluggish domestic equities and rising crude oil prices. Global dollar strength and Brent crude prices hovering near $113 per barrel also contributed to pressure on the rupee.
