Unsuccessful Candidates Demand Fresh Group-I Exam

Unsuccessful Group-I candidates have urged the Andhra Pradesh High Court to uphold a single-judge order cancelling the mains examination and ordering a fresh one. They cited a special investigation team's report indicating irregularities at every stage of answer script evaluation. Forensic examination revealed corrections on OMR slips of selected candidates, and a significant drop in marks for Telugu medium students after manual evaluation. The candidates argued that the APPSC itself had previously complained about irregularities by its own secretary.

ग्रुप-1 के असफल उम्मीदवारों ने आंध्र प्रदेश हाई कोर्ट से सिंगल जज के उस आदेश को बरकरार रखने की अपील की है जिसमें मुख्य परीक्षा रद्द कर नई परीक्षा कराने का आदेश दिया गया था। उन्होंने एक विशेष जांच दल की रिपोर्ट का हवाला दिया, जिसमें उत्तर पुस्तिका मूल्यांकन के हर चरण में अनियमितताओं का संकेत मिला था। फोरेंसिक जांच में चयनित उम्मीदवारों की OMR स्लिप पर सुधार पाए गए, और मैन्युअल मूल्यांकन के बाद तेलुगु माध्यम के छात्रों के अंकों में भारी गिरावट आई। उम्मीदवारों ने तर्क दिया कि APPSC ने खुद पहले अपने सचिव द्वारा की गई अनियमितताओं की शिकायत की थी।
